Laura is the owner of a little farm house in the beautiful vineyard area of the Saale-Unstrut region near Freyburg. There, she has established an international Artist in Residency, since she has been an artist in residence herself many times in different countries of the world and has profited tremendously from it. During the months May till September each year she is hosting 1 to 4 artists, providing two private rooms with double beds, two private kitchen areas, a shared bath room, two private studios, a big performance space containing a pianoforte, a wood stove and dining table as well as lots of raised beds filled with fruits and vegetables.

Nearby are the best hikes, cherry and plum trees, two wonderful open pools, beautiful castles and the museum with the Nebra Sky Disc from the Bronze Age, one of the first evidences of humans doing art.

When: May - September each year

Costs per Person: 350 Euro a week, 1100 Euros a month

Minimum stay: 2 weeks up to 3 months, exceptions in length are being made

Supplies: 2 private art studios and workspace, attic with photo backdrops, ceramic works at local pottery studio for a fee, nylon string guitar, pianoforte, e-piano

Food: Either “self service” or Laura provides breakfast and late lunch for an extra fee

Workshop Weekends are possible and can host up to 15 people, Costs per Person 175 Euros
